Inside Our Schools

Wednesday, Oct. 8, is Walk to School Day. We are looking forward to seeing a lot of children in our neighborhood walk to school with their friends and parents. We had many wonderful activities last week. Our PTA began the "Meet the Masters" art program in our school.

The Right View: Should global warming be part of Cambridge school curriculum?

The Chronicle recently reported that the King Open School in Cambridge received an unnamed $1,000 grant “to educate and engage teenagers in ‘on-the-ground’ actions to address global warming.” It turns out that the source of the grant was a program called “Climate Classroom,” run by the National Wildlife Federation.
